RESISTANCE
The alternating Kevlar and glass fabric offer excellent insulation with respect to the contact temperature (withstanding 900?C for up to 20 seconds) and good protection against splashes of molten metal.
The blend of both materials is a good substitute for asbestos.

SAFETY
The aluminised glass fabric cuff protects a large part of the forearm.
