Kaba 950 Series Mortice Lock & Escape Turn

950 Series locks are non-handed and are suitable for narrow stile hinged or pivoted doors. The deadbolt is locked by either key or turn. Also suitable for sliding doors where lock can be mounted to door jamb and deadbolt engages strike mounted to face of door.
Kaba has released the SB312 case fixed turn escape lever to suit the 950 and 951 range of narrow style backset locks.
Includes:
- 1x 950 lock body 22mm bolt
- 1x Case fixed turn escape lever
- 1x Escutcheon
- 1x Cylinder
SB312 Features:
- Suits 950/951 range of narrow backset locks
- Surface fixed escutcheon (FA950) provides stability by clamping on cylinder and also face fixing to door – supplied as standard
- Retro-fits to all common manufacturers locks in market
- Single action downward lever operation to unlock door meets BCA/NCC requirements of egress for exit doors
- Lever design meets AS1428.1 Design for Access and Mobility when fitted to standard aluminium extrusion of
- 45mm thick style
- Patented mechanism provides travel restriction to prevent lock damage
- Handed installation is field reversible
- Satin chrome finish

I tried a number of places to get a replacement lock for my foyer entrance door and had ridiculous prices of $400+ to get it replaced. I discovered this lock on eBay and it is perfect. It is totally interchangeable with the 35 year old lock that was in the door. Easy to fit and works a treat.
